The 30th NREA-DHSUD National Convention successfully concluded on May 13–14, 2026, at the prestigious Bayview Park Hotel Manila, gathering key leaders, government officials, industry experts, stakeholders, and real estate professionals from across the country for two days of meaningful discussions, collaboration, and professional development.

Organized by National Real Estate Association, Inc. in partnership with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, the convention highlighted the continuing commitment of both organizations in promoting sustainable urban development, responsible real estate practices, and strengthened partnerships within the housing and property sector.

This milestone event featured the special participation and invaluable insights of distinguished government officials and industry leaders, including DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon L. Aliling, Senior Undersecretary Sharon Faith Paquiz, Senior Undersecretary Eduardo P. Robles Jr., Dir Roel B. Ugaban, and Atty. Michael Vincent S. Gaddi.

The convention was further enriched by the participation of renowned urban planner and architect Felino A. Palafox Jr., who also serves as NREA Past Chairman and President. His inspiring presentation emphasized the importance of sustainable cities, resilient communities, and future-ready urban planning in the Philippines.

Also gracing the occasion were Manila City Mayor, Hon. Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso, Rep. Miro S. Quimbo the Chairperson of the Committee on Ways and Means, Pag-IBIG Fund CEO, Hon. Marilene C. Acosta, Senator Joseph Victor G. Ejercito, Director Anna Liza Bonagua from DILG, Regulatory and Institutional Partners, ARTA Secretary Ernesto Perez, and the Philippine Tax Academy Chancellor Pamela Quizon.

A highlight of the first day of the convention was the formal induction of Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso as an Honorary Member of National Real Estate Association, Inc.. The recognition was bestowed in appreciation of his contributions to urban development, public service, and his support for the real estate and housing sector. The induction ceremony was warmly received by attendees and became one of the most memorable moments of the convention.

One of the major highlights of the convention was the future-proofing of the industry’s workforce through the Mass Oath-Taking and Pinning Ceremonies of New Real Estate Salespersons. The ceremony was officially initiated and led by Ofelia C. Binag, Chairperson of the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRBRES). The meaningful ceremony symbolized the commitment of newly accredited real estate salespersons to professionalism, ethical practice, and excellence in the real estate industry.

Throughout the two-day convention, participants engaged in insightful discussions on housing programs, real estate trends, urban development, policy reforms, investment opportunities, and the future direction of the Philippine real estate industry. The event also provided attendees with valuable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) learning opportunities, networking sessions, and collaborative exchanges among professionals and government partners.

The success of the 30th NREA-DHSUD National Convention would not have been possible without the unwavering support of all special guests, speakers, delegates, sponsors, partners, and organizers who contributed to making the event a meaningful and memorable gathering for the real estate community.

NREA extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants and stakeholders for their continued trust, support, and commitment in advancing the real estate profession and nation-building efforts in the Philippines.

As the organization celebrates this successful milestone, NREA remains steadfast in its mission of fostering excellence, professionalism, and sustainable growth within the Philippine real estate industry.
